To celebrate the inaugural Wings on the Warrego event in Charleville, QLD from the 27th to the 29th of September 2024, the Murweh Shire Council and Spantech are hosting an exciting photo competition.
Celebrate Charleville's unique architecture by capturing the new Outback Museum of Australia (OMOA) or the historic WWII Secret Base. Located within the Charleville Airport precinct, these two attractions may look different, but they share a common feature: roofs constructed by Spantech.
Entry is simple:
- Capture a creative shot that includes the OMOA or the WWII Secret Base. Focus on an intriguing architectural detail or the entire structure. Perhaps snap a lively scene unfolding around one of these Charleville landmarks. Ensure your photo features a portion of either building.
- Entries must be original work.
- Share your photo on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #OMOA. Participants under 16 should have an adult post for them and use #OMOAu16.
- Tag Experience Charleville and Spantech.
- Complete the Entry Form below and upload a high-resolution copy of your image. If you're under 14, an adult should complete this step on your behalf.
The judges are looking for fun and personality, good photography skills and a fresh, new point of view. They will be looking for something that will make others want to come and visit Charleville.
Fantastic prizes up for grabs, with categories open to photographers of all ages and skill levels!
- Open Winner: $600
- Open Runner-up x 2: $200 each
- Under 16 Winner: $300
- Under 16 Runner-up x 2: $100 each
The judges’ decision will be final.
