Photo Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Organizer

The competition is organized by Experience Charleville, within the Murweh Shire Council organization. By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.


2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to all individuals, except employees from the Tourism Department of the Murweh Shire Council.
  • Participants under [16] must have parental or guardian consent to enter the competition.


3. Entry Period

  • The competition begins on 20 August 2024 and ends on 6 October 2024. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.


4. How to Enter

  • Participants must submit their photographs online via the online form found on www.experiencecharleville.com.au
    Each participant may submit a maximum of 1 entry.


5. Submission Guidelines

  • Entrants must adhere to the entry guidelines (points 1-4) found on the entry page, this pertains to but is not limited to the inclusion of hashtags and tagging.
  • Photographs must be original and taken by the participant.
  • Images should be submitted in JPEG or PNG format with a resolution of minimum 2GB.
  • Photographs must not contain any offensive or inappropriate content.
  • By entering, participants confirm that their submission does not infringe on any third-party rights.


6. Judging and Prizes

  • Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, adherence to the theme.
  • The decision of the judges is final and binding.
  • Winners will be notified by email and telephone by 10 October 2024.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other alternatives.


7. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Participants retain ownership of their photographs.
  • By entering the competition, participants grant Murweh Shire Council and Spantech a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the submitted photographs for promotional purposes.


8. Liability

  • The organizer is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries, or for any technical issues that may prevent entry submission.
  • The organizer is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in the competition.


9. Privacy

  • Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without the participant's consent.
